Carpet Cleaning Process

Normal Clean

Restorative Clean

An anti-foaming agent is worked into the carpet, extracting and neutralizing any chemicals contained within the carpet. A buildup of chemicals in the carpet (from previous cleaning) can in time, draw back previously removed/cleaned stains.
The carpet is pre-sprayed with a cleaning and degreasing agent (it also sanitises and treats for dust mites). It is allowed time to dwell before being mechanically worked into and out of the carpet using a duplex cleaning machine
An Encapsulating cleaning agent is applied and worked into the carpet. This chemical also contains a colour enhancement agent which assist in trying to brighten and restore the carpets original colour and in time this chemical crystalizes, attracting deep down dirt, bringing it to the surface for removal regular vacuuming.
A slow release deodoriser is sprayed on to leave you carpet smelling refreshed for days to come.
The Duplex 420 is a medium sized all-in-one floor scrubber/washer/steamer/dryer, especially imported from Italy and designed for the sole purpose of cleaning low pile flooring materials – carpets, vinyl’s and ceramic tiles faster and easier than ever before. Its compact size combined with outstanding maneuverability provides great efficiency in small or large areas. Whether it be a difficult hard floor like profiled tiles or a short pile domestic carpet, this amazing machine can clean them all. The duplex is the only machine recommended to clean Flotex carpets.

How often do my carpets need cleaning?

Commercial

Your carpets should/need to be cleaned every 3 to 12 months, depending on how frequently the areas are used and for health and safety reasons. High traffic areas may need to happen cleaned/scheduled more frequently.

Regular scheduled cleaning at a reduced price can be arranged for business/commercial properties.

Household

Your carpets should/need to be cleaned every 12 to 18 months, depending on how frequently the areas are used. However, if you have allergies, pets, children or exposure to cigarette smoke, cleaning may need to happen more often.

When dirt and grime stay in your carpets, it adds to the wear and tear on your carpet fibres. If you get your carpets cleaned, your carpets will look their best for longer, and your carpets lifespans will increase.

**Note:

The best advice is to clean carpets before they become totally saturated with soil. If you wait until carpets look really dirty, the carpets may never be restored to their former appearance. Dirt builds up in layers, and when a carpet looks dirty you are only seeing the dirt at the tips of the fibers. More dirt is hiding below the surface down near the base of the pile, causing damage to the carpet. When a carpet is saturated with dirt, the soil has penetrated crevices and has become firmly lodged.

Neutraliser and deodoriser adds extra protection against future smells too.

It is highly recommended for any effective stain removal to “deal with it fast”, before it has time to set.
